Step-by-Step Hair Detox Instructions (Macujo Method)

 

For the best possible results, we strongly recommend performing the full Macujo Method a minimum of 5 times before your test.

Important: Completing the full protocol 5 times is required to qualify for our Results Guaranteed Promise.

1.  Wash your hair thoroughly with Advanced Toxin Cleanse shampoo (the one containing Propylene Glycol). Rinse well and towel dry.

2.  In a large bowl, mix warm water and baking soda until it reaches a gravy-like consistency. Massage into your hair and scalp for 5–7 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and towel dry.

3.  Spray Clean & Clear astringent (or generic 2% salicylic acid equivalent) over your entire head, ensuring complete saturation. Massage for 5–7 minutes. Wipe away any drips and let it sit for 30 minutes. (Tip: Apply petroleum jelly around your forehead and ears to prevent irritation.)

4.  After 30 minutes, take a small dab of liquid Tide laundry detergent and gently scrub your hair and scalp for 3–7 minutes. Rinse well.

5.  Apply Advanced Toxin Cleanse shampoo again, rinse thoroughly, and towel dry.

6.  Spray white vinegar over your entire head, saturating the hair. Massage thoroughly and wipe away any excess.

7.  Spray Clean & Clear astringent over your entire head again, ensuring full saturation. Massage thoroughly (avoid eyes and ears), wipe away excess, and let it sit for 30 minutes.

8.  After 30 minutes, take a small dab of liquid Tide laundry detergent and gently scrub your hair and scalp for 3–7 minutes. Rinse well.

9.  Do a final wash with Advanced Toxin Cleanse shampoo to remove any lingering smells of vinegar or detergent. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry.

Optional – Zydot Ultra Clean (Day of Test)

10. On the morning of your hair follicle test, use Zydot Ultra Clean exactly as directed on the packaging. Its effects are stated to last up to 24 hours.

11.  Final step: Pass your test!

Helpful Notes

•  Clean & Clear astringent may be substituted with any generic 2% salicylic acid product from Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, or similar stores.
